In Moscow, it seems like any new club vanishes in an instant—we were all at one opening, two years later, and there are already offices or themed cafes in that same spot. The only thing that never seems to disappear, no matter what, is the network of shot-whiskey bars, where it’s impossible to find a free spot almost every weekend.
One of the landmark, and frankly, already legendary places within the «informal» scene is a club called «Klub.» You can meet anyone there: rapper Chipinkos, artists, physics and engineering students, poets, athletes, and ordinary working people. The veranda during the summer months becomes the main gathering spot where various lives intersect (though it can be tough to squeeze in among all those lives).
