Hello! My name is Katya. I am an artist and designer specializing in textiles and fiber art, as well as a set and costume designer working in theatre and film, and a textile art historian. I began my professional education at an art school and continued at A.N. Kosygin University of Design and Technology in Moscow, specializing in artistic textiles. I completed my Master’s research on contemporary textile materials at the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz Academy of Art and Design. I am currently pursuing postgraduate research on innovative textile materials and technologies. In spring 2026, I studied at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Germany, followed by professional training at GITIS — Russian Institute of Theatre Arts in Theatre Production Technologies. My interests include directing, theatre, and interdisciplinary practices combining visual art, design, scenography, and contemporary media.
