visual irony concerning a culture where even the right to the mundane transforms into a necessity to look aestheticWe live in a time when the aesthetics of a beautiful life extend even to private time and domestic space. The protagonists of my project engage in ordinary activities, yet these everyday situations are set within an artificially organized space. The women in the frame are subservient to the aesthetics of staged imagery.
