Hello everyone! In this showreel, I’ve compiled the best animations created during two years of independent study, as well as while studying animation at various schools (2022–2024).
About the Author
My name is Daria. Since childhood, I have loved cartoons and animation, always thinking they were created by some kind of magicians!
During university, I discovered 3D software packages like Autodesk Maya, Blender, and Zbrush, which led to my passion for 3D modeling. Then I learned that the magic of animation happens within one of these programs… and that’s when it all took off!
Over two years, I have trained both independently and at various schools—Dorogov’s Animation Institute («Introduction to Animation. Maya for Beginners,» Mentor: Sergey Kornilin), OCA School («Face Control — Facial Animation Course,» Mentor: Ivan Pavlov), Voronezh Animation School («Facial Animation for Advanced Users,» Mentor: Alexander Kolyadin), and iAnimate (Workshops 3–5, Mentor: Alexis Wanneroy).
I enjoy studying animation and seeing the diverse approaches taken by professionals in the field. I still have much to learn, but you can see my current progress in the reel below →
Recently, my work was featured in the showreel of an OSA animation school where I studied. It was such a pleasure to see my work alongside the beautiful pieces of other students!
