Concept
The presented keychain serves as physical merchandise for the Wave Catcher web archive of independent radio stations. The choice of a vintage rhomboid hotel room key shape is motivated by its semiotics of an «access key» to a private space, metaphorically reflecting the media archive’s function in preserving marginalized independent stations.

Carrier and Material
The keychain base is created using 3D printing. PETG will be used as the material because it is stronger than PLA, does not break when bent, and is resistant to heat. The body is white, and the logo is black—it is assumed the printing will be done in two colors by changing filaments. Layer thickness is 0.2 mm, with 2 perimeters and 15–20% infill.
The rings are standard metal rings: a small connector (Ø10 mm, 2 mm rod) and a large main ring (Ø25 mm, 3 mm rod). The specific supplier is not important; any standard rings of the corresponding size will suffice.

Packaging
The keychain is packed in a bag with a cardboard euro slot/hanger. The plastic (polymeric) bag is sealed with welded seams, and the cardboard is folded in half and secured with clips.
Bag: 135×65mm, cardboard header: 35×67mm.
