Illustrations/marginalia for the children’s poem book «The Som in a Summer Night» by Evgina Fet (Stavrolit, 2022).
«The Som in a Summer Night» (Ages 6+) is a story about how everything begins. The narrative is told from the perspective of a Sea Otter. It is a story of friendship, because friendship is something that happens once and for all. Thanks to friendship, it becomes clear why one must endure injustice, disappointments, and gain sad experiences mixed with hardship. In essence, this story is about the choices we make and how we navigate those choices afterward.
