«Platonovsky Festival of Arts» is an international arts festival held annually in Voronezh, named after Andrey Platonov—one of the most original Russian prose writers of the 20th century. The festival features disciplines including Theater, Music, Exhibitions, and Literature.

The visual language of the project is based on preserved manuscripts by Andrei Platonov. The initial «П» for Platonovsky, which serves as the logo, is hand-drawn. The «living sign» reflects the vibrant art within the festival, while the static square shape of the logo symbolizes the venue. The square’s form also functions as a systemic module: it helps establish image proportions across the project from varying numbers of photographs.

In identity visuals, photographs often serve as background elements or compositional additions without taking center stage. For this reason, all images have been converted to monochrome. The «faded» imagery creates the effect of documentary photography, evoking the visual style of the early 20th century, a period when Andrei Platonov was creating his work.
The project predominantly features a color-coding system: pale gray serves as the neutral base color for the project. Square labels on the posters are color-coded to designate event locations: orange for «Beach,» lilac for «Alley,» yellow for «Circle,» green for «Forest,» light blue for «Square,» and pink for «Gazebo.»
The developed events schedule brochure has two functions: folded, it fits easily into a bag, and it allows users to quickly find the desired announcements thanks to color markers. After the festival, the viewer can unfold it and keep it as a poster.
