The project is a collectible series of interchangeable decorative lampshades, developed based on the visual world of the short animated film «Frisson.» The system combines functional lighting, customization, and collectibility: the modules can be rearranged, combined, and supplemented to form different lamp configurations while maintaining a unified light base.

The project emerged from the intersection of two previously developed works—the Lumenora decorative lighting brand and the animated film «Frisson.» Lumenora was initially conceived around the concept of interchangeable shades, and the visual world of the film became the foundation for a new object collection.
Key project requirements include interchangeability, modularity, and ease of interaction. The lampshades must be easy to remove, reposition, and combine without complex tools, while maintaining reliable fastening even after multiple assemblies.
Each module must possess independent visual and collectable value, be connected to the overall series and visual language, and retain its expressive quality both as part of the lighting fixture and as a separate interior object. The construction and materials must be technologically sound, safe, and designed for long-term use.
Admissions

The system consists of: 5 interchangeable chassis modules; 4 top elements; a base mounting module with an E26/E27 socket.
The chassis elements feature varied shapes and personalized designs, yet they utilize a unified connection standard.

Materials
The primary technology is 3D printing. PLA and ABS are used for prototyping and small-batch production. After testing, polypropylene may be used for greater durability. Neodymium magnets are employed to connect the modules.
Functionality
How it WorksThe modules connect seamlessly using integrated neodymium magnets. Four attachment points allow each element to be positioned in four orientations with 90-degree turns. The side access port is used to route wiring and simultaneously helps to disengage the magnetic connection.
The basic light source module can be placed at various levels of the structure. Because of this, a single set allows for different compositions and usage scenarios—desk, floor, and pendant. The removed modules retain their independent decorative value and can exist in the interior separate from the fixture.
The top module can remain open or be closed with an additional cover. The cover completes the composition and allows the top light output to be more muted.
