Through Rosy Glasses

The project is inspired by the well-known idiom, «seeing through rose-tinted glasses, ” which refers to an idealized and naive view of the world, of human relationships, and of people themselves… The expression exists in many languages, demonstrating the universality of this phenomenon.

Pink functions as a metaphorical filter, meant to conceal obvious flaws. The collection conveys a perspective both from someone who perceives the world illusorily and from someone who sees reality without distortion. Through torn, crumpled fabrics and deconstruction, the truth is shown—pink merely embellishes it, without altering reality in any way. The distorted appearance of the images is reminiscent of the saying, «rose-colored glasses always shatter inward”—illusion is not eternal.
