Project Goals and Mission:The showcase is dedicated to the theme of the fashion show «CART-BLANC» and was updated shortly after its staging. The exhibition features looks that participated in the show, and the design preserves the atmosphere of the event.

ConceptThe creation of the window display incorporated imagery and visual codes from a fashion show. The space was meant to transform into a frozen moment from the show—a moment one could hear the clash of swords and the clang of metal. The specific nature of the workshop space required dividing the display into three sections of varying lengths, each featuring its own composition. No radical changes were made; the new display was based on the previous one. The corporate color of HSE was used as the background—Berlin blue. Instead of a yacht model, a stylized bag was featured «Rope Yard”—a metaphor for Camelot Castle within the „Fashion Design“ discipline. The display was filled with images from the runway show. Screens bearing the inscription „BLANK CANVAS“ served as an accent to the background and a reminder of the show itself. The boat was transformed into a dragon upon which a mannequin, dressed in an armor-like silver ensemble, was placed. The floor panels were painted in a black-and-white checkerboard pattern—a reference to the conflict between good and evil.

Key Focus:The curator of the «Fashion Design» program, Nikita Zelepukhin, and the art practice instructor, Kirill Gavrilov, successfully met the challenge: to create a display case for the HSE Knot Workshop in a short amount of time. The display case features two original looks I designed in the 1st Year, 3rd module. During the preparation of the display, I helped refresh the flooring. While assembling it, I was tasked with independently assembling the clear mannequins and dressing them in my looks. This task turned out to be challenging, even though at first glance it might seem simple—what’s so hard about it?
