Hello! I’m Anna Yakovleva, a UX/UI designer based in Moscow. I design websites and mobile apps for businesses and nonprofits.

post

◆ 2+ years of commercial experience. I’ve worked with Rosseti, the online school EGE Nalegke, and the nonprofits Ethnosphere and the Miloserdie Foundation on websites, course landing pages, digital and print materials.◆ 30+ projects completed across client work and university studies.◆ I’m a fourth-year student at HSE Art and Design School, specialising in digital product design and promotion.◆ I use Figma, FigJam and Adobe Creative Cloud. I create interactive prototypes, build reusable components and work with design systems. I also build websites in Tilda and have a working knowledge of HTML and CSS.

On each project, I start by asking questions and learning about the subject so we can agree on priorities. As the work develops, I explain my decisions and use feedback to refine the design.

01 / Ethnosphere
Website Redesign

Context

Ethnosphere is a Moscow nonprofit that supports children and adults with migration experience, including refugees. It runs educational and cultural projects and helps people settle into life in Russia.Between January and June 2026, I redesigned and built its website, working on the UX audit, site structure, interface design and launch. I also researched and segmented the audience, analysed competitors and created a style guide.

Redesigned website

Problem

The organisation needed a website that would attract visitors, encourage them to stay and build trust in its work. The existing site needed a clearer structure and a more consistent visual design to help people understand what Ethnosphere does and find relevant information.

Desktop and mobile layouts

Solution

Drawing on my audience and competitor research, I audited the existing website and reorganised its content into eight sections: About, History, Team, Projects, News, Collaboration, Partners and Shop. I revised the user flows and designed responsive layouts and an interactive prototype in Figma.

02 / SNOK (S)
Media Website Design

Context

SNOK (S) is a media project about sleep and dreams for people who want to improve their sleep or explore their dreams as a form of self-reflection.I worked in a team to develop the project from its initial concept to the design handoff over nine months. My role covered audience research, competitor analysis and website design. I also contributed to the brand identity and worked on social media, writing posts and helping design the visuals.

Website design

Problem

Many people struggle with sleep but find it difficult to get clear, practical advice. Information is scattered across different sources and often written in technical language. We saw a need for a single website that brings this information together and explains it in plain language.

Website design

Solution

We brought information about sleep and dreams together in one platform, with articles written in plain language, interactive tests and quizzes that help readers explore the topics. I designed the interface to make relevant content easy to find and navigate. The website also includes an online shop selling branded merchandise.I independently developed the design system, building a library of reusable components to keep the pages consistent as the design expanded.

03 / Lino
Mobile App Design

Context

Lino is an app for preparing for difficult conversations at work and in personal relationships. It gives people a place to rehearse what they want to say and practise responding when a conversation takes an uncomfortable turn.Working as part of a team, I designed the mobile and smartwatch interfaces, researched the audience, wrote job stories and mapped user flows. I also developed the brand platform and contributed to the visual identity.

App Interface

Problem

In our audience research, 76% of respondents said they put off important conversations because of anxiety, fear of conflict or uncertainty about their position. 62% said fear of conflict, rejection or guilt stopped them from expressing their needs. The audience included adults aged 20-35 who tend to overprepare for important conversations, as well as new managers and professionals facing negotiations or pressure at work. They needed help stating their position and maintaining boundaries, especially when the other person reacted negatively.
