ROLL CALL
University Tech-Sharing Service for Creative Students
About the Project
Studying design, media, or photography requires constant use of professional equipment. The «Roll Call» project unites students from the same university into a trusted network, making it easy to rent or borrow a necessary camera, light, or tripod from a classmate for a couple of days.
The Core Problem: The High Cost of Equipment for Student Shoots
The main issue: Students frequently need equipment for one to two days to shoot their coursework or portfolio, but buying it or renting it commercially is financially prohibitive.- High Cost. Professional lighting or lenses can cost tens of thousands of rubles. Buying them for a single semester project is inefficient.
- Rental Hurdles. City rental services require large deposits, complex contracts, and often necessitate traveling across the city.
- Chaotic Searching. Attempts to find equipment through general messaging chats are time-consuming, and messages get lost in the noise.

- Usage Agreement: A basic standard liability agreement for student use.
- Community and Guides: Educational cards on how to properly handle rare combinations of equipment.
Overall Value: The project lowers the financial barrier to entry into creative industries and helps build useful connections among students from different years.
