The art object functions as an interactive space for deep psychological self-analysis and escapism, where every viewer becomes the primary element of the exhibition. Through an extraordinary rhizome of mirrors, the installation compels the individual to confront their own reflection from unfamiliar, sometimes terrifying angles, completely negating the possibility of «hiding from oneself.» By ascending the spiral staircase, the subject not only alters the viewing angle of the object but also symbolically rises above their fears to take one final, most honest look into the core of their «self.» We aim to evoke a sharp ambivalence of feelings within the individual—ranging from the depressive sensation of a dead end and anxiety to sudden catharsis and liberation. This object is a delicate investigation into how the human ego reacts to mirrors and how the mirrors themselves gaze into its depths. Does a response—pure hatred or blind adoration—arise within? Does subconscious anxiety, a sense of threat, and a desperate urge to flee or conceal emerge? Or is everything you are struggling to find already within you, and to see it, you must look not into the mirror’s reflection, but into yourself? The key is not to drown in any of these worlds. Interaction with the space plunges the person into a state of forced introspection, compelling them to answer the central mental challenge: «Can you look at both sides of your personality?»
