The poster was created for the concert «New Jazz—Vyacheslav Gaivoronsky, Pyotr Ivshin, Andrei Razin, ” held at the „DOM“ Cultural Center. The concept behind the poster was the spontaneity characteristic of jazz, along with musical terminology associated with each artist.
the process of poster creation and the finished poster
The main objective was to find a way to integrate a processed photograph—selected from a personal gallery while listening to musical compositions—with the designed typography. In the poster, the text was arranged like curtains, specifically blinds that reveal a unique scene. Additionally, the slight duplication of letters and their parts references the spontaneous sounds in jazz known as «fluttertongue.»
Poster Display at the «DOM» Community Center
The poster, along with the others, decorated one of the walls in the hall during the concert.
