Stencil Workshop for Poster Picnic

As part of the Poster Picnic x HSE Art and Design School event, our team developed a postcard workshop. Festival attendees created their own compositions using pre-cut stencils and applied acrylic paint with sponges and brushes.The project involved developing the visual direction, graphic elements, stencils, preparing materials, and executing the work on-site.
Amusement Park
The graphics incorporated imagery associated with the festival atmosphere: rides, circus elements, characters, play objects, decorative forms, and short phrases. We assembled these into an element library that could be combined for the postcard design.

Lettering
Short phrases became independent graphic elements. Different typographic styles were used to alter the rhythm of the composition and to integrate text with imagery.
