The beekeeping client wished to build a house on a small plot of land. This necessitated the inclusion of accessible green roofs in the design. These roofs would host both a apiary and a vegetable garden. Furthermore, such a roof improves the house’s sound insulation, which is crucial given its proximity to Sheremetyevo Airport. The beehives served as the inspiration for the design. The silhouette of the building resembles a composition made up of several interconnected hives.
