A concept for a future city realized on actual topography. The triangular cell as a growth law, the lithium reactor as the dominant feature—a complete cycle from initial sketch to general plan, volumetric model, and final visualizations. An original project, executed solely by the author.
КОНЦЕПЦИЯ
Kurum is a utopian city project. The name is derived from the Kurumnik, a stony scatter covering the Ural slopes; the city is constructed from the same angular boulders, only these are inhabited. The triangle functions here both as the shape of an individual module and as the governing pattern along which the entire city expands. The settlement’s energy core is a lithium reactor, which also serves as the main vertical element of the skyline.

ВДОХНОВЕНИЕ
The primary source of inspiration for the project was the work of concept designer Syd Mead. His cities are resolved through large, clean masses that function on silhouette rather than on intricate detail. I took this principle as the foundation for the presentation. His optimistic futurism first and foremost set the direction for utopia—a beautiful future toward which humanity should strive.

ПОИСК И КОНЦЕПТУАЛИЗАЦИЯ
The sketches addressed one question: what the city looks like from street level. The search focused on finding a silhouette and a dominant form. First, the lithium reactor appeared, followed by modules on supports and a horizon line composed of pyramids.
The core of the search was to correctly conceptualize a city configuration that could grow organically, rather than being constructed.
МОДЕЛИРОВАНИЕ
Main body of work. A triangular cell was placed onto the satellite base layer and SRTM relief; further, a fractal division using the Sierpinski pattern generated density in the core and thinning toward the edge. The plan was brought into three dimensions using gray massing in Blender, followed by framing the shot directly within the scene.

НЕЙРООБРАБОТКА РЕНДЕРОВ
To achieve a rendering style closest to Syd Mead’s optimistic futurism, I utilized generative neural networks, specifically PromeAI, whose works served as a model for conveying that same feeling in my frames.

СОЗДАНИЕ ОБЛЁТКИ
To fully immerse the viewer in the space of my project, I created short, second-long animated clips using generated frames from a generative neural network. This resulted in a small showcase frame within my presentation that began with gray blocks.
