ALTER EGO — an interactive web art project exploring the sublimation of anxiety into form and sound. The user segments their day into «acts» and logs the intensity of their experiences. These logs dictate the state of a translucent glass sculpture and the character of its sound.
The sculpture is interactive: you can squeeze it, stretch it, and trace across its surface. These gestures alter its shape and generate sound, allowing you to compile and record an auditory portrait of the day.
The project’s unique quality lies in the convergence of personal experience, bodily gesture, and musical composition. The sculpture itself becomes the interface—you can play with it. The contrast between the soft, fragile shell and the tense sound expresses the project’s core idea: to give internal experience a tangible artistic form.
